Linera developed a software application that runs on the Microsoft Windows operating system, which can be used to record, parse, extract and analyze data in IRIG format. The application has a graphical user interface to let the user place sensor data to a customizable IRIG frame, comprised of major and minor frames. IRIG formatted data can be transferred from an external device to the PC via high-speed interfaces. If required, the sensor data can be displayed live to the user while the data is being transferred and recorded.

As part of a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) project, Linera and SDT signed a contract in December 2009 concerning the development of the signal processing unit of the radar.

As part of the agreement, Linera will:

  • Design, develop and verify certain parts of the FPGA-subsystem of the signal processing unit, specifically high-speed 1D/2D signal processing algorithms and high-speed communication protocols
  • Develop code on a real-time operating system to design, build and verify the communication interfaces between the FPGA subsystem and the processor subsystem
  • Provide consulting services to SDT regarding FPGA-based systems development.
